Unit 3 "PEOPLE AND HEALTH”
En esta unidad conoceremos los aspectos de la salud: mental,
física y social; y los hábitos saludables relacionados con la higiene, el
descanso, la postura, el ejercicio físico y el tiempo libre. En esta ficha se
recoge el vocabulario y las estructuras que el alumnado debe aprender junto
con unos enlaces de vídeos que serán de utilidad para repasar los contenidos
estudiados.

* Health is a state of complete physical,
mental and social well-being. ( La salud es el estado de bienestar tanto
en el aspecto físico, como mental y social).
* Physical health means that our body works
well, without pain or any difficulties in our everyday activities. (La
salud física se refiere a que nuestro cuerpo funciones bien, sin dolores ni
dificultades en nuestras actividades diarias).
* Mental health means that we are happy with
ourselves. (La salud mental significa a que estamos
contentos/as con nosotros/as mismos/as).
* Social health means having good relationship
with the people aroud us. (La salud social significa tener buenas
relaciones con las personas que nos rodean):
* An accident is something that happens
suddenly without an apparent cause. (Un accidente es
algo que sucede de repente, si una causa aparente).
* It is impossible to avoid accidents, but we
can often prevent them. (Es imposible evitar los accidentes, pero
podemos prevenirlos).
