Unit 2 "WEATHER AND CLIMATE” En esta unidad estudiaremos la atmósfera y los diferentes climas de la Tierra. En esta ficha se recoge el vocabulario y las estructuras que el alumnado debe aprender junto con unos enlaces de vídeos que serán de utilidad para repasar los contenidos estudiados.

STRUCTURES
* Weather is the temperature, precipitation and wind at a particular time and place. (El tiempo atmosférico es la temperatura, la precipitación y el viento en un momento y lugar concreto). * Climate is the weather in a particular place over a long period of time. (El clima es el tiempo atmosférico que se da en un lugar durante un la rgo periodo de tiempo). * The climates depend on various factors: distance from the Equator and other factors. (Los climas dependen de varios factores: distancia del Ecuador y otros factores). * The Earth has: a hot zone, two temperature zones and two cold zones. (La Tierra tiene: ua zona cálida, dos zonas templadas y dos zonas frías). * There are three kinds of climates: hot climate, cold climate and temperate climate. (Existen tres tipos de climas: cálidos, fríos y templados). * The atmosphere is the layer of  air that surrounds the Earth. (La atmósfera es la capa de aire que rodea a la Tierra). * Air is a mixture of different gases. (El aire es una mezcla de diferentes gases). * The atmosphere consists of many layers: the troposphere, the stratosphere and outer layers.  (La atmósfera consta de muchas capas: la troposfera, la estratosfera y las capas externas).
